I was walking up to the copier at work, mind drifting—not in the most loving direction—thinking about my job and the interim director. You know the kind of thoughts… the quiet ones we don’t say out loud but feel deeply.
I made my copy.
The machine blinked back at me.
Copy #666.
I paused. Then I laughed.
Not because I was afraid, but because I understood. That wasn’t a warning. It was a mirror. A gentle, slightly humorous nudge saying, “Hey… come back to center.”
And I did.
I revised my thoughts right there at the copier. Not with force. Not with denial. Just awareness. The moment passed, the energy shifted, and peace returned.
Sometimes alignment doesn’t arrive as a thunderclap or a burning bush.
Sometimes it shows up as office equipment with impeccable timing.
Message received. Balance restored.
